India Paddle Festival 2025 – Athlete Disclaimer
1. Equipment & Personal Belongings:
- Athletes are responsible for their own stand-up paddle (SUP) boards, paddles, safety gear, and any other personal equipment required for participation.
- While event organizers will provide designated storage areas, we are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged equipment. It is advised to label and secure all belongings properly.
- Any equipment malfunctions or replacements are the sole responsibility of the athlete.
2. Safety & Risk Acknowledgment:
- Participation in water sports involves inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, adverse weather conditions, and ocean currents.
- Participants are expected to wear appropriate safety gear, where required.
- The event organizers and partners will have safety personnel on-site, but each participant acknowledges the risks involved in the sport and agrees to participate at their own discretion.
3. Medical Responsibility:
- Athletes must ensure they are in good physical condition before participating in the event.
- Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed to the event medical team prior to participation.
- In case of an emergency, event organizers will provide first aid assistance, but athletes are responsible for their own medical insurance and expenses.
4. Code of Conduct & Sportsmanship:
- Athletes are expected to display good sportsmanship, respect fellow competitors, and adhere to all event rules.
- Any unsportsmanlike behavior, misconduct, or failure to follow safety instructions may result in disqualification.
5. Weather & Event Schedule Changes:
- The event schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions and safety assessments.
- Organizers reserve the right to postpone, modify, or cancel certain race categories due to unforeseen circumstances without prior notice.
6. Photography & Media Consent:
- By participating, athletes grant the event organizers permission to use photographs, videos, and other media captured during the event for promotional purposes.
- Any athlete who does not wish to be featured in promotional materials must notify event staff in writing prior to the event.
7. Liability Waiver:
- By registering and participating, athletes acknowledge that the event organizers, sponsors, and affiliated partiesare not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage incurred during the event.
- Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless all parties involved in organizing the India Paddle Festival 2025.
